A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 8/27/18 from 10:10am until 12:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of the tour, there were 8 children in care for a total of 12 points with the provider and one assistant. 5 children's records and 3 provider/household member/assistant records were reviewed. Children were observed returning from a walk with the provider, eating snack and participating in morning activities, to include music time, story time and free play. Hand washing, food services, restroom and table sanitizing procedures were also observed. First aid and emergency supplies, the emergency preparedness plan, documentation of emergency practice drills and required postings were reviewed. The provider does not currently administer medication and there are no children in care at this time with any doctor diagnosed allergies. The provider reported there have been no injuries to children in care that required first aid or medical treatment since the last inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K.
