- Technical Assistance:
During the inspection, the licensing representative discussed with the provider children's records, infant equipment, and the Adam Walsh resource for requesting out of state central registry results.
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today at the Family Day Home from 12:00pm-2:10pm. A total of 10 children [37 points] and 3 caregivers were present. Children were observed transitioning to naptime and during infant feeding. Nurturing interactions were observed between caregivers and children. An abundance of age appropriate supplies and materials were available at children's leisure Caregiver continues to exceed in standards for programming. A sample of 5 children's records, 6 caregiver/household member records, annual training/develpoment, emergency drills, emergency supplies, the emergency plan, outdoor play equipment and other documents were reviewed and inspected. Areas of non-compliance are documented on the violation notice. If you have any questions, please contact me at Ivaco.Clarke@dss.virginia.gov or 571-835-5505. Thank you for your cooperation,
