An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted from 10:10 am to 12:25pm in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office on 08/31/2018. Interviews were conducted with staff relating to the allegations of not using the appropriate measures to clean diapering surfaces and behavior guidance. The information gathered during this investigation does not support the allegations, so the complaint is determined to be not valid. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-120-A Complaint related: Yes Description: Based on record review, provider did not maintain a complete record for each caregiver. Evidence: The first and last day of employment for Staff # 1 was not listed in the record. Plan of Correction: I will document the dates.
Standard #: 63.2-1720.1-B-2 Complaint related: Yes Description: Based on record review and staff interview, provider did not obtain fingerprinting results for staff before the first date of employment. Evidence: 1. Staff # 2 stated that Staff # 1's first day of employment was on 8/27/18. 2. Staff # 1's fingerprint results were obtained on 8/31/18. Plan of Correction: Staff is no longer working at the family day home.
