54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 9 children (17pts) with Provider and Assistant present during the inspection. When the inspector arrived, children were outside playing in the sand table, blowing bubbles and exploring the backyard finding acorns. A nice transition from outside to inside was observed. Children prepared for the music teacher as they sat down on the carpet. Children were observed singing as the teacher played guitar. Multiple hand instruments were available for the children to use. They took turns sharing instruments amongst each other. New renovations in the programming area. Ample supplies and equipment on site that provide sensory opportunities for the children. The programming space was decorated with autumn leave artwork and colors of fall. Today was lunch bunch Tuesday where children are able to stay and have their packed lunch. Hand washing procedures observed before lunch. A total of 5 children records, all household and staff records were reviewed today. Two medications on site and authorizations and staff medication training determined complete. This inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 12:15pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
