Licensing inspector discussed file review, TB screenings and First Aid training with provider.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 10:30am-12pm. There were 3 children (8 points) in the direct care and supervision of 1 caregiver. A sample of 3 children?s records, 1 caregiver's record, 1 household member's record was reviewed. The children were observed playing, eating lunch and celebrating the birthday of one child in care. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-760-A-1
Description: Based on observation, the first aid kit was incomplete. Evidence: The first aid kit was missing antiseptic cleaner and 1 of 2 triangle bandages.

Plan of Correction: I will get it before this weekend.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C
Description: Based on record review, documentation of emergency evacuation and shelter in place were missing required information. Evidence: The documentation of the emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills were missing the method used for for notification of drills, any special conditions simulated, and weather conditions.

Plan of Correction: We used a whistle and we conduct the drills when its stormy. I will use the model form.
