54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted fro 8:30am -10:30am. Upon arrival there were no children in care. The provider stated she has children scheduled to arrive later that day. A sample of 2 household/caregiver and 3 children's records were reviewed. The licensee did not have any medications or children enrolled with food allergies.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on a record review and interview with the provider, the licensee did not ensure a monthly evacuation drill was practiced. Evidence: On the sheet the licensee had posted to show the evacuation drills practiced, there was not a drill documented for the month of October. The licensee stated she overlooked that drill. Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was given by the licensee during the exit interview. This was oversight and a regularly scheduled evacuation drill will be implemented in November.
