Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from approximately 2:00pm to 3:25pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. During this inspection, there were 2 children in care totaling 3 points being cared for by one provider. Upon the inspector?s arrival, the children were finishing up lunch. The children were observed by the licensing inspector preparing for nap time in their designated area in the home. The licensing inspector interacted with the children when appropriate. The provider was observed having positive interactions with the children. The areas for childcare, bathroom, kitchen, and the indoor play area were inspected. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, daily attendance, and fire and shelter-in-place drills were inspected. Currently, there are three children enrolled and their records were inspected during this inspection. The provider?s records, one assistant?s records, and one household members? records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations found during this inspection.

If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Florence Martus, at 804-662-9772.
