A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from approximately 2:20pm to 3:45pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. During this inspection, there were 10 children in care totaling 20 points being cared for by two caregivers. Upon the inspector?s arrival, the children were napping. The children were later observed by the licensing inspector waking up and interacting with peers. The licensing inspector interacted with the children when appropriate. The caregivers were observed having positive interactions with the children. The areas for childcare, bathroom, kitchen, and the indoor play area were inspected. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, daily attendance, and emergency drills were inspected. During the inspection, five children?s records, one provider?s records, one assistant?s records, and one household members? records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined over all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations found during this supplemental Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. If you have any questions about this inspection, contact the licensing inspector, Florence Martus, at 804-662-9772.
