Technical assistance was provided relating to ratios and that it doesn't matter if the children are sleeping or not you can not be at 35 points and only have 1 staff member.
An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted on Friday, November 16, 2018 relating to standard 22VAC40-111(8)-570-A: the provider must ensure there is an additional caregiver if they are above 16 points. An interview with the provider was conducted and she stated that yes she was over points at 2:00pm on October 19, 2018. This complaint is deemed valid. Evidence: Provider confirmed that on October 1, 2018 at 2:00pm, she had12 children, 35 points and only 1 staff member on site. Plan of Correction: I won't let it happen again. I had one staff member at lunch and the other one had an emergency and had to leave, since the children were still asleep I said it was ok for her to go.
