An unannounced focused inspection was completed on November 26, 2018 from approximately 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. to review compliance with specific standards. Nine children were in care, ages infant to two years old, with the provider and an assistant, for a total of thirty points. The caregivers and children were observed interacting and engaging in activities to include free playtime, group story time, infants in bouncy seats, diapering and watching television and hand washing in preparation for lunch. The indoor space was inspected and one caregiver record and daily attendance were reviewed. There have been no new caregivers hired since the last inspection nor any new children enrolled. The provider was available for interview, inspection and exit interview at which time inspection findings were reviewed. There were no citations for violations of the Standards for Licensed Family Day Homes.
