- Technical Assistance:
**Today is the last day to conduct an evacuation drill for November 2018. **A renewal application has not been received by the Fairfax Licensing Office. The licensing inspector will email the application form and staff information sheet to the provider to complete and submit to the Fairfax Licensing Office as noon as possible prior to expiration on 12/21/2018.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-10:30am. There were 5 children (14 points) directly supervised by the provider and assistant. The childcare area, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today in accordance with the policy of the provider. Children were observed playing freely and with staff members, painting canoes, singing and dancing, and being read to. Positive interactions between caregivers and providers were observed throughout the inspection. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. No violations were cited during today's inspection.
