- Technical Assistance:
Evacuation drill needs to be completed by the end of this week. Capacity cannot exceed at any time of the day or on any given day.
An unannounced renewal was conducted today at 11 AM. There were 8 children ( infant-4 years) present with a Provider and an assistant for a total of 20 points. Provider stated no one is currently in need of medication but has MAT certificate. Records, training documents, daily attendance record, menu, and emergency plans were reviewed. The children were not going outside today due to temps and wind but activities were available to the children. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-40-A Description: Based on observation and interview, the Provider did not ensure total number of children receiving care at any one time did not exceed the maximum licensed capacity. Evidence: 1. The current license has a capacity of 7 children and 8 children were present. 2. Provider stated Child #2 is a neighbor here for a family emergency and not part of the regular group. Provider stated child was enrolled in the summer and now she is a back up Provider. Plan of Correction: A family member of child #2 is traveling here and will be staying with the child. I understand I cannot have more than 7 children at one time.
