Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:40am to 11:40am. 7 children (plus the Provider's child) were present with 2 caregivers, totalling 18 points. Ratios were in compliance. The children were observed during free play, story time and singing/using musical instruments. The physical plant, children and caregiver records, evacuation drills, attendance and emergency procedures were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Description: Based on observation, the Family Day Home failed to maintain the home in a clean, safe and operable condition. Evidence: The smoke detector on the upper floor of the residence was beeping and not in an operable condition.
