An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the provider on December 17, 2018 beginning at 8:46 AM and ending at 10:10 AM. There were four children in the care of the provider during the inspection. The children's ages were 2, 2, 4, and 4 years old for a total of 8 points. The children were observed eating breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, wheat toast, pineapple chunks, and milk. The children were also observed playing dress up and with blocks. Four children's records were reviewed and in compliance. One staff record and two household members' records were reviewed and in compliance. There were medications on site to be reviewed. The provider and staff member have current First Aid and CPR certification. The first aid kit, flash light, and weather band radio were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed; the most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 12/7/18. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 12/7/18.
