Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on December 18 2018 between 11:30am and 1:15pm. There were 10 children in the direct care of 2 providers. Children were observed eating lunch, being diapered, washing hands, and playing with building blocks. The day care space is clean and organized. The space offers plenty of materials for the children to utilize. Areas of non-compliance are listed on the violation notice page. If you have any questions please contact me at 703-554-4995 or at derek.acosta@dss.virginia.gov

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-690-D
Description: Based on observation, the diapering surface is no longer nonabsorbent. Evidence: The diaper pad has small tears in the surface making it able to absorb liquids.

Plan of Correction: I will go tonight and replace the item.
