22VAC40-191 Background Checks for Child Welfare Agencies
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with provider to determine compliance with the licensing standards. There were eleven day care children present, ranging in age from one year to six years, totalling 26 points with two caregivers. The children were baking holiday treats, having lunch time, and laying down for rest. Lunch served today: chicken nuggets, tater tots, pineapple, peas, and milk. The children have made lots of seasonal art work. Six children's files and two caregiver files were reviewed - please see Supplemental Summary for missing items. The last shelter in place drill was documented 4/28/2018. Both caregivers have valid first aid and CPR certification until 9/10/2020. Provider does not administer medication - Medication Administration Training is required to administer medicine. Pet vaccinations are current. Time of today's inspection: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please call me if you have any questions at 804-662-9766 or e-mail email@example.com.
Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2 Description: Based on review of two caregiver records, the facility failed to have documentation of a central registry finding within 30 days of employment or volunteer service.
