Discussed creating and implementing systems to maintain compliance with child, caregiver, and household member records. Provided guidance on background checks.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:45am-1:00pm. There were 6 children (20 points) supervised by 2 direct care staff. The home, 2 caregiver records, 8 children?s records, 3 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed engaging freely, having storytime, listening to music, and eating lunch. Lunch today was chicken, bread, fruit, and milk. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact Anansa Archer-Hicks at 703-268-3295 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
