Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was provider regarding infant and toddler programming and activities.

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-12:50pm. There were 8 children (25 points) directly supervised by 3 staff. At the start of the inspection 11:00am the provider was not home and a substitute provider was present. The provider arrived at about 11:10am. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed watching television, eating lunch, dancing and singing after lunch. Handwashing procedures were also observed. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Description: Based on observation, the provider did not have a complete first aid kit. Evidence: The first aid kit is missing one triangular bandage.

Plan of Correction: We will purchase one triangular bandage.

Description: Based on observation, the provider did not have a working battery-operated weather band radio and extra batteries. Evidence: The provider had a working radio but it would not function with the battery that was in its place. The provider did not have extra batteries for the weather band radio.

Plan of Correction: We will purchase new batteries as soon as possible.

Description: Based on observation and record review, the provider did not update the emergency plan annually. Evidence: The provider's emergency evacuation plan was last updated in June 2017.
