Technical assistance was provided regarding utilizing the new Sworn Disclosure Form which includes a box indicating if the caregiver has resided outside the state of Virginia within the past 5 years.
An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted between the hours of 1:10pm through 3:00pm. There were a total of 3 children present (7 points) with the Provider. A total of 3 children?s files and the provider's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: playing with puzzles, free play, and eating lunch which consisted of fish filet, brown rice, potatoes, peaches and milk. Positive interactions between caregiver and children were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the programming space, children and staff records, evacuation drills, menu, attendance, and emergency procedures were completed today.
