An unannounced non-mandated monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:15am to 11:15am. The purpose of this visit was to assess if previous violations had been corrected. There were 12 children (32 points) in care of 2 caregivers. The children were observed being bottle fed, playing with toys, eating morning snack and washing hands. Emergency drill records were current. 5 children records and 2 caregiver records were reviewed. Areas of non compliance are listed in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-680-A Description: Based on observation, caregiver did not wash hands with liquid soap and warm running water after changing a diaper. Evidence: Caregiver # 1 was observed an infant's diaper. Caregiver # 1 did not wash her hands with warm running water and liquid soap after the diaper change. Plan of Correction: The caregiver was retrained during the inspection.
