Discussion of the subsidy regulations and how they apply to the Family Day Home (FDH). A review was conducted of all applicable areas to include an updated Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan. Also the FDH is still within the 90 day period from the date of becoming subsidized (12/03/2019). Staff #2, and Staff #3 have till March 3, 2019 to complete their CPR, First Aid, and 10 hours of in-service training.
A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted at the Mary Ugarte Family Day Home (FDH) located in Leesburg, Virginia. This inspection was conducted on 02/05/2019, between the hours of 10 am through 2 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An Unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
