A renewal inspection was conducted with the provider and two assistants There were six children in care total of 15 points. The age range of the children was 18 months to two years old. The children were observed during rest time. The provider does not give medications and does not transport. Provider and assistants have been attending trainings. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on review of the emergency evacuation log not all monthly escape practices were conducted monthly. Evidenced: There was no emergency escape practice for the months of September and March of 2018. Plan of Correction: We will conduct escape practices monthly.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-420-A Description: Based on observation there was not enough light for caregivers to adequately supervise sleeping children. Evidence: In the room with cribs and the large room children were resting the rooms were to dark to see children. Plan of Correction: We will keep night lights and a small lamp was added.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-530-G Description: Based on observation children under the age of two years were allowed to sleep in a crib with a pillow. Evidence: A 18 months old child was sleeping in a crib with a pillow. Plan of Correction: Correct during the inspection. No children under the age of two will be allowed to sleep with pillows
