A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 02/13/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Present during the inspection were 4 children, ages 3 months-3 years, totaling 11 points, in the care of 1 provider. The inspector reviewed 4 children's records and one provider record during today's inspection. The provider stated that medication is not administered. The children were observed in the following activities: watching a children's television show, participating in a Valentine's Day art project, in music and movement, in free choice play and during lunch. The inspector reviewed the updated emergency preparedness plans and the emergency supplies during the inspection. The licensing inspector discussed the following with the provider: nutrition, safe sleep, the additions to the subsidy requirements and the requirements for hiring an assistant provider with the provider at today's inspection. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety were found. The inspector arrived at 10:00 a.m. and departed at 12:20 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Forestier at 540-309-2835.
