An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 9:10am-10:25am. There were 3 children (7 points) in the direct care and supervision of 1 caregiver. A sample of 3 children?s records, 1 caregiver's record and 3 household members records were reviewed. The children were observed playing, eating, and engaged with provider. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review, children's records were incomplete. Evidence: 1 of 3 children's records reviewed were missing required information. Child A was missing the employer phone number of the mother, and a provisions of emergency preparedness form. Plan of Correction: I texted the parent for missing information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-170-A Description: Based on record review, the provider did not obtain a tuberculosis exam for each adult household member. Evidence: A current tuberculosis screening was not available for Household Member A. Plan of Correction: My husband will print a copy.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-690-E Description: Based on observation and interview, the family day home did not have a foot operated trash can. Evidence: The provider stated that there is one child in care that is not potty trained. There was not a foot operated trash can available. Plan of Correction: I will buy one.
