An unannounced Subsidy Health & Safety inspection was conducted today, February 25, 2019 to determine the family day home's compliance with subsidy requirements. The inspection was initiated at 2:00pm and concluded at approximately 3:30pm. All subsidy requirements were reviewed and overall compliance determined. Administrative records, all areas in the home used by children, and outdoor play areas were inspected. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. See attached notice for violations found during this inspection. During the inspection of the family day home's emergency preparedness plan, it was discovered the continuity of operations procedures were not listed.
Plan of Correction: Per provider: I will create and have the procedures completed by the end of the week.
