63.2 Child abuse and neglect
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 1:50pm-2:50pm. There were 6 children (14 points) directly supervised by 1 staff. The home, 1 staff record, 2 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed sleeping. An infant was observed being soothed. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review, the provider did not ensure all children's files were complete. Evidence: Child 1 is missing the addresses of two emergency contacts and the medical insurance policy number. Plan of Correction: I will contact the parent today and get the information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-340-C Description: Based on observation, the provider did not have all required items in the bathroom. Evidence: The bathroom did not have paper towels. Plan of Correction: Paper towels were placed in the bathroom at the time of inspection.
