Technical assistance discussed regarding organizing paperwork.
A complaint inspection was conducted today, after reviewing all available facts, there was not a preponderance of evidence to make the complaint founded; the complaint was not valid. Other violations were cited during the inspection and a violation notice was presented to the provider. The ongoing compliance with the standards is the responsibility of the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-120-A Complaint related: No Description: The provider did not maintain a record for each caregiver. Evidence: Assistant #1's file did not contain an address; verification of age; job title; date of employment; name, address and telephone number of person to be notified in case of an emergency; 2 or more references and documentation of verification prior to employment; documentation of education and training and substitute provider records shall also contain documentation of the time of arrivals and departures. Plan of Correction: I will get the paperwork and put it in a file for her.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-230-D Complaint related: No Description: Orientation training for caregiver was not completed prior to caregiver working alone with children and within seven days of the date of employment. Plan of Correction: I will complete orientation of assistant and document it and place documentation in her file.
