A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 03/25/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal study was conducted today. There are 7 children present (17 points) with 3 caregivers. 7 children and 4 adult records were reviewed. See violation notice for missing information. Children were observed playing with flash cards, washing hands, eating lunch, and resting. Emergency evacuation drills, first aid supplies, emergency supplies, refrigerator/freezer temperatures and the playground mulch are all in compliance. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-400-B-7 Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan, he plan is incomplete. Evidence: The plan available for review was missing the continuity of care component. Plan of Correction: The plan will be rewritten to add that to the plan.
