Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:25am through 11:45am. There were 3 children (9 points) with 2 caregivers present. A total of 3 children's files, 3 caregivers and 1 household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, games, bathroom breaks, hand washing, and playing outside. There were no medications on site. Emergency drills were current and the emergency preparedness plan was updated annually. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Description: Based on record review and caregiver interview, the family day home did not obtain central registry findings for an employee within 30 days of employment. Evidence: 1. Caregiver # 1 was hired on 10/24/18. Caregiver # 2 stated that Caregiver # 1's central registry form was mailed in October 2018 after she was hired. 2. Caregiver # 2 did not do a follow up to inquire about the results when they did not return within 30 days.

Plan of Correction: The agency was called during the inspection and efforts were made to conduct a follow up . The provider will follow up with the inspector as soon as the results are obtained.
