An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 7 children with Provider and 2 assistants were on site today. When the inspector arrived, the children were seated at the table completing a dessert themed project that included stickers of stars. A nice transition to the bathroom to wash hands before morning snack was observed. Snack this morning was crackers, cheese and milk to drink. Staff were observed sanitizing the tables after snack time. The children moved to the large playroom to play freely with the toys and equipment. All within reach of the children to encourage independence in selection. One medication on site today. A total of 5 children's records, all staff and household records were reviewed today and found complete. Previous violations from the November inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. This inspection began at 9:15am and ended at 11:15am. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2 Description: Based on staff record review, one background check was not received within 30 days of employment. Evidence: Staff #2 was hired on 11/15/18, the Central Registry search results were not received until 3/6/19. Plan of Correction: We will document the day the search was requested and follow up within 30 days of the results are not received.
