Comments:
An unannounced mandated inspection was conducted from 11:30am-1:20pm. There were 11 children (29 points) in the direct care of 2 caregivers, within the supervision guidelines. A sample size of 4 children's records, 3 caregiver/household member records, the first aid kit, emergency materials, evacuation drills, and medications were reviewed. The children were observed as they were being fed bottles and taking a nap. The day care space is organized and there is an abundance of age appropriate toys and materials available to the children. There were no violations cited at today's inspection. If you have any questions, please contact me at shahana.green@dss.virginia.gov
