- Technical Assistance:
Discussed the use of play pens for children. Play pens are only permitted for playtime. Sleeping in play pens are prohibited. Discussed emergency medications and training that is required for prior to administration of these medications.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total o f 3 children (10pts) with Provider and 1 assistant present during the inspection. When the inspector arrived the children were interacting with the assistant, playing with toys and being read to. Observation of the programming space, bathroom and storage of food was made. A total of 3 children's records, all staff and household records were reviewed and found complete. Preparation of food for lunch was made. Lunch today was rice and beans with apples. Hand washing before lunch was observed and staff was observed assisting with feeding the children and encouraging one to use their utensil independently. Previous violations were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. This inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 12pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
