Technical Assistance:
When you document injury/accident reports please make sure you are documenting them in English- you can also then document the same injury in Spanish as well. Reviewed with the provider their procedures in picking up day care children from the school bus in front of their home.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the provider, who was present with an assistant and 9 children for a total of 18 points. The children were eating lunch, which consisted of beef, corn, rice, banana and milk. The provider reported that there were no medications on site for any of the children, however the provider completed Medication Administration Training on 6/21/18 and First Aid and CPR are up to date and due to expire on 2/3/20. Arrival time: 11:50 am Departure time: 1: 05 pm

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: Based on a review of three caregiver's files, it was determined that one caregiver had not obtained a repeat tuberculosis test/screening every two years. Evidence: Caregiver A's tuberculosis test is dated 1/12/17.

Plan of Correction: She has taken the test but needs to get the results.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-240-A
Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the home was not maintained in a safe manner. Evidence: The Licensing Inspector observed a container of bleach all purpose cleaner and a spray bottle of sanitizing agent in the bathroom on a shelf unlocked and accessible to the children

Plan of Correction: We will lock immediately.
