Technical Assistance:
Discussion about the change of address for the current license to now reflect the new address of the Family Day Home (FDH). In addition, the capacity will also be changed from 9 to the new approved number by Loudoun County Zoning of 12. Discussion of the changes made to the FDH's Emergency Preparedness & Response Plan. Discussion of steps in the backyard. A gate (barrier) will need to be installed to prevent access by children over 2 to the steps (3 risers) leading down into the entrance to the FDH. The stone steps leading from the front yard down into the back yard may also need to be addressed at some future point. Currently access is only with child's parent. However, if backyard play allows access to these steps as well an additional barrier may be required.

Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 1 pm through 2:30 pm. Today, I met with the Provider of Rohina's Day Care located in Lenah, Virginia. This unannounced Non-mandated Monitoring Inspection (NMI) was conducted as a result of a request to modify an existing license; change of address and capacity. The was a focused inspection. All applicable standards, rooms, and outside areas that pertain to a new location were reviewed. If you should have any questions, please call. Thank you. Charlie Perkins, Licensing Inspector (703) 309-3963
