An unannounced renewal inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 5 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected today between 1:00am-2:30pm. There were 12 children (plus the Provider's daughter), totaling 36 points, under the supervision of 3 caregivers. Today, the children worked on crafts, practiced writing letters and counting numbers, participated in circle time, worked on puzzles and rested during naptime. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Today, the children were served fish (or egg for vegetarian child), spaghetti, carrots, broccoli, oranges and milk. The Provider is currently certified in MAT (medication administration training).
