Technical Assistance:
Re-certification of CPR/First Aid is due in September 2019.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 7 children (14pts) with Provider and 1 assistant present. When the inspector arrived, the children were sitting on the carpet with the Provider. A nice transition was made to dancing and singing to songs where the children demonstrated galloping like a horse. One child was snack helper and assisted staff with setting the tables for snack. Hand washing procedures were observed today prior to snack time. Juice/water and muffins was snack today and staff were observed sitting with the children during snack. The children passed the muffins to one another. A variety of activities were available to the children such as mixing primary colors to make secondary colors, playing in the kitchen area and a sorting activity where children sorted soft and hard items. Provider read "Goldilocks and The Three Bears" to the children and encouraged active participation with the story. All 7 children sat at the table where the provider demonstrated how to draw a flower with petals. Positive interaction between staff and children was observed. A total of 7 children's records were reviewed today. All background checks, training and certifications remain current for all staff. This inspection began at 10am and ended at 11am.
