Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on April 16, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 11:00 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. There were nine students in the care of the provider and two assistants for a total of thirty points. No medication is being administered at the present. Five children's records were reviewed. The record for the provider, two household members and three assistants were reviewed and updated. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.. Areas observed were: lunch, infant feeding, hand washing/bathroom and diapering procedures, story-time, free choice activity and nap. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as positive and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. Please contact me at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
