Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 4/17/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 3 children and 2 caregivers present. Children were observed interacting with staff, playing on a riding toy, sorting and learning about fruits and vegetables, whether they were sweet, sour or spicy, and having tummy time. Reviewed 2 children's files, 2 staff files and 4 household members files, emergency evacuation log, first aid kit, menu, attendance, physical plant and outdoor play area. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
