54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 4/18/19 from 11:40am until 12:45pm. At the time of entrance, there were 6 children in care, for a total of 9 points, with the provider and one assistant. A sample of 6 children's records and 3 provider/assistant/household member records were reviewed. Children were observed playing outside, eating lunch and transitioning to nap time. Hand washing, lunch service and table sanitizing procedures were also observed. First aid and emergency supplies, the emergency preparedness plan, documentation of emergency practice drills, one injury report and required family day home postings were reviewed. The provider does not administer medication to children in care. No violations were identified during today's inspection.
