54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.

Technical Assistance:
The provider is currently zoned to care for 9 children in her home. The provider has submitted an application to have her FDH capacity increased to 12 children. There is a public hearing scheduled for September 2019. Also discussed infant's pacifiers.

Comments:
Today an unannounced Monitoring inspection took place between 10:30am and 12:15pm. There were 8 children present with the provider and 2 assistant for a total of 20 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed coloring worksheets, eating lunch (chicken nuggets, rice, peas and carrots and milk) and nappinge . A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. There is an ample amount of toys and activities for the children. Positive interactions between the children and caregivers was observed. Thank you for your cooperation. Description: Based on record review, children's records do not contain all required information. Evidence: Child #3's registration form states that the child has a cow milk intolerance. The provider has not obtained instructions regarding actions to take in an emergency situation.

Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents today when the come to pick.
