An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between 8:30am and10:00am. There were 6 children (18 points) with 2 caregivers. The children were observed singing, playing with floor toys and building toys. The physical plant, staff/children/household records, menus, emergency supplies, attendance records and evacuation records were reviewed. Areas of non compliance were cited in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on a review of 4 children's records, 1 out of the 4 records reviewed was incomplete. Evidence: Child #1's file did not have a completed authorization to pick up form. Plan of Correction: Will get information from parents and place in file.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on review of all staff records 2 out of 2 staff did not receive the required 16 hours of annual training. Evidence: Staff #1 had a total of 7 hours and Staff #2 had a total of 5 hours of annual training. Plan of Correction: We will work on getting additional training.
