Health and Safety inspection was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were six children, including one resident child, in care with the vendor. Children present ranged in age from 21 months to four years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-400-B-7 Description: Based on interview the vendor failed to create a continuity of operations procedure as required. Evidence: When asked to demonstrate compliance with the requirement vendor stated that the center did not have such a procedure. Plan of Correction: The vendor will create, write and implement the required procedure as soon as possible.
