Annual fireplace inspection needed by 5/3/2019.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:45am - 11:00am. 11 children [36 points] were present with 3 caregivers. A sample of 5 children's records, emergency drills, emergency plan and other documents were reviewed. Children were observed during various indoor play activities, such as blocks, imaginative play, and dress up. Infants were observed during tummy time. Nurturing interactions were observed between children and all caregivers. Areas of non-compliance are documented on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-690-D Description: Based on observations, the diapering surface is no longer considered nonabsorbent. Evidence: A tear was observed on the diapering surface in the infant/nap room; therefore, no longer being nonabsorbent. Plan of Correction: I will order a new one.
