The following inspection was conducted from 10:15am-11:15am. Today, I met with the Provider on site at the Family Day Home (FDH). At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 4 children (8 points) with 1 caregivers. A total of 3 children's files, emergency drills and other documents were reviewed. The children were observed during bathroom breaks, hand washing, and other organized activities. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on records reviewed and interviews conducted, documentation of emergency evacuation drills was not maintained. Evidence: Provider stated that an evacuation drill was practiced during the month of March ; however, it was not documented at the time of the inspection. Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection; Provider recalled date of drill and documented.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920 Description: Based on records reviewed, the menu was not dated for a one-week period. Evidence: At the time of the inspection, the menu posted was last dated on 4/20/2019. Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection; Menu was updated with dates and substitutions.
