Comments:
An unannounced, mandated monitoring inspection was conducted today. The inspector arrived at 10:00 AM and departed at 11:00 AM. Nine children, totaling twenty-seven points were in care with the provider and assistant. Morning activities were observed. Two caregiver/household records and five children's records were reviewed. Current rabies vaccinations for pets were verified. It was reported that no medication is administered to children in care and no children's injuries were reported. An exit meeting was conducted with the provider prior to closure of the inspection.

Description: Based upon review of evacuation drill records and provider interview, the provider has not ensured that emergency evacuation procedures are practiced monthly. Evidence: 1. There was no emergency evacuation drill documented for April 2019. 2. The provider acknowledged that no evacuation drill was conducted in April 2019.

Plan of Correction: The provider responded with the following: An extra evacuation drill will be conducted and documented this month (May 2019). Monthly drills will be practiced and documented.
