Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 1:00pm-3:00pm. There were 5 children in the direct care and supervision of 3 caregivers. The children were observed sleeping since it was nap time. The first aid kit, emergency materials, 3 children's records, 3 staff records, evacuation drills, day care space and the playground were reviewed. There were no medications on-site today. Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-A
Description: Based on a review of children's records, 1 out of 3 children's records was not up-to-date. Evidence: 1. Child #1's last annual update of information was on 1/3/2018.

Plan of Correction: I will have the parents update the information today.

Standard #: 63.2-1720.1-B-2
Description: Based on a review of staff records, the Provider did not obtain fingerprint results for an employee through Field prints. Evidence: Staff #2, who was hired on 5/10/2019, had finger prints taken, however they were not through Field prints and did not meet the requirements for submitting to fingerprinting.

Plan of Correction: She will get her fingerprints done through Field prints this weekend.
