Discussed new subsidy regulations.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:30am. There were 6 children (19 points) supervised by 2 direct care staff. The home, 2 staff records, 6 children?s records, and 3 household member?s records were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed singing, coloring, learning about the number nine, counting, working with puzzles, and transitioning to lunch. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B
Description: Based on a review of children's records, 1 of 6 records did not include documentation of all of the required information. Evidence: Child #4's (start date: 8/13/2014) record did not include documentation of a completed physical form signed by a physician.

Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent to return it by Friday.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-170-A
Description: Based on a review of caregiver records, 1 of 2 caregiver records did not contain documentation of a current report of TB screening. Evidence: Caregiver B's record did not contain documentation of a completed TB screening.

Plan of Correction: We will go today to get the screening completed.
