Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 5/20/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:45am-12:45pm. There were 10 children (32 points) directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 3 staff records, 5 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing freely, learning numbers in Spanish and English, being bottle fed, playing outside, and eating snack. Diapering procedures and hand washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Description: Based on review of the emergency plan, the family day home's emergency response plan did not include procedures for the continuity of operations. Evidence: The center's emergency plan did not address procedures for the continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency.

Plan of Correction: I will follow up with the subsidy program, I will ask them to send me information in writing stating that I'm no longer a subsidy vendor.
