Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 10:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. There were 9 children in care ranging in age from 23 months to 5 years for a total of 19 points under the care and supervision of 3 staff. The provider returned during the inspection for a total of four staff. Children were observed during outdoor time including working on a project for the day's theme of 'ducks'. After outdoor time, children prepared for lunch. Lunch today was pizza, cucumbers, carrot sticks, apple slices and milk. After lunch, children prepared for nap. Childcare areas, equipment and materials were observed. Four children's records, five staff records and two household member records were reviewed. Training hours were reviewed. Emergency drills are up to date. One pet record for a dog was reviewed and in compliance. The provider is Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified, however there are no medications on site.
