Licensing inspector discussed child abuse and neglect training, requirements for the files of household members and freezer thermometer requirements with Provider.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 9:20am-10:50am. There were 8 children (24 points) in the direct care and supervision of 3 caregivers. A sample of 4 children?s records, 3 caregiver's records, and 3 household member's records were reviewed. The children were observed playing and taking a morning nap. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-50-E Description: Based on interview, reports on children were not maintained for two years. Evidence: 1. The attendance for the May 01-17 2019 was not available. 2. Caregiver A stated that they are scattered in multiple places. Plan of Correction: I will keep them in one place for the next time you come.
